After Race In Coeur d'Alene City
Park - Competitors Drawings
2008 Coeur d'Alene Triathlon and Duathlon -
August 9th, 2008
If conditions do not allow for the swim portion of the race to be
conducted, the race will be held as a Duathlon with the following
format: 5k run, 40k bike, 10k run.

General
1. There are sani-kans by the transition area. Rest
rooms are back by the stage area. While on the run, there are rest rooms
in the city park and by the boat ramps just before entering Tubbs Hill.
2. Teams: The team member that
picks up race bag is responsible to get swim cap, race number and shirts
for rest of team. All team members will be body marked with a team race
number.
3. Transition Area: Transition
area opens Saturday at 5:00am and closes at 1pm. Please clear out of the
transition area as soon as possible. Be early, parking can be difficult.
Your body must be marked before you are allowed into the transition area.
NO ONE is allowed in the
transition area on bike path area unless you are a participating athlete.
Absolutely no family members
or friends please.
This race will comply with USAT Competitive Rules, Article IV
"Swimming Conduct", Section 4.4 "Wet Suits" regarding to temperature
ranges and use of wet suits, and eligibility for prizes and awards.
Bikes must have the bike tag on them. Identification to get your bike
out of the transition area must match your body number or your race number.
This is for you and your property's protection. Only competitors with
a race number or body marking are allowed in the transition area. Please
keep your family and friends out of the area. For your safety and security,
this will be enforced.

After the race results will
be posted if possible.
They will also be posted on the Internet. Results will no longer be
mailed.
Be sure to stick around after the race for the special prizes to be given
away. You must be present to win. All of the prizes will be given away
separately.
Awards are given to the following
categories:
Age Groups: First 2 places
in each category.
Relay Teams: First 2 places in each category.
Masters Man and Woman (over 40 years of age): Top Masters man and woman
finishers receive awards.
Clydesdale and Athena (Men over 200lbs and women over 150lbs)New Category.
Prize information forthcoming.
Overall Man and Woman race winner: Overall man and woman race winners receive
awards.
